T-Box RPU

The T-BOX Remote Processing Unit (RPU) is a fully programmable and capable cabinet processor for use in harsh environments like roadside cabinets. The T-BOX requires modest power and has a small foot print. The T-BOX includes Multi-Channel Color Video Image Capture and Compression and uses a standard PC-104 expansion bus to provide additional peripheral interface capability and flexibility. The T-BOX includes RAM, Non-Volatile Flash Memory, and Processor Speed to make it quite flexible as a cabinet RPU for Processing Local Incident Algorithms, Detection and Message Sign Control, Measurement Collection and Archiving, and Easy Integration of Multiple Sensor Types.

USI RPU

The SmarTek Systems Universal Sensor Interface (USI) is a low cost and rugged programmable processor used as a custom interface between various remote sensors or systems (traffic sensors, traffic counters, weather stations, temperature and pavement sensors, etc.). The USI can also be used as a low cost stand alone cabinet RPU.

The USI requires little power and has a very small foot print. The USI includes a Maxim "One Wire" Micro-Lan Interface and hence, may be used as a flexible custom interface for variety of devices that don't have an RS-232 interface (relays, switches, temperature probes, etc.).

BL-2030

The SmarTek Systems, Inc. STS-BL2030 is a low cost and rugged programmable processor used as a custom interface between various remote sensors (loop detectors, traffic, weather, temperature, etc.) and a standardized Remote Processing Unit (RPU) or for use as a stand alone RPU.

The STS-BL2030 requires little power and has a very small foot print. The STS-BL2030 may also be used as a flexible custom interface for loop detectors and other devices without a serial data stream.
